Selected students will receive a $1,000 scholarship for their continuing education paid directly to their school. Scholarships can be used for trade schools or two-year or four-year colleges (public or private).
Applications open each year on January 1 and must be submitted by April 30. Recipients will be notified before Powhatan High School’s graduation ceremony.
To apply, students must simply complete our application, which includes a brief personal statement expressing your interest in or connection to the field of special education. You must complete the application in one sitting. You cannot save it and complete it later.
